Chelsea works in Community-Engaged Teaching and Research where she has a chance to leverage the human and intellectual capital of the university to support community-based goals and organizations. With a passion for social change, she has the opportunity to work with faculty and students across the university who want to explore how their interests and skills can support community goals.
Chelsea is a Boston transplant, originally from Wisconsin an graduated from Northeastern with a degree in Human Services and International Affairs. Her time at NU helped her live out many dreams of travel and adventure – which she continues to do post-grad with solo trips across the country and world (after nearly a year in Costa Rica and Guatemala in college, Latin America continues to be a favorite region to explore!)
Fun fact: on one of her adventures, she was scuba certified in a volcanic lake… an activity she really never wants to do again!
