Nhien believes that we all need to be seen and heard, for who we authentically are, to thrive as individuals and as a community. Serving as the Assistant Director of Student Affairs for Northeastern’s Seattle campus, Nhien aims to build genuine connections and a sense of belonging for all members of the Seattle community and beyond in different aspects of her work. She grew up in Seattle after immigrating from Vietnam in the early 2000 with her family. She also worked and lived in New Hampshire for over seven years. She received her Bachelor’s in Human Development from The Evergreen State College and her Master’s in Social Work from Eastern Washington University. Fun fact: Nhien loves to read, listen to podcasts and gardening.
