Mike de Vera (he/him) is a Filipino-American, 1st generation college student, relationship-builder, stabilizer, and INFJ. In any project or role, Mike loves tackling issues that bring in folx from the margins into the conversation. Currently, Mike serves with Khoury College as the Director of West Coast Graduate Services, where he leads the advising and holistic services for the diverse body of graduate students, particularly for the Align program, which is designed to prepare individuals from non-technical backgrounds to work in the Computer Science industry. Additionally, he enjoys travel, eating, movies, and exploring the Bay Area, where he resides.
